What is well-being & why is it important?

What Is Well-Being? Well-being is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. It means that you are experiencing good health in your body, peace of mind with positive emotions like happiness and pleasure; feeling satisfied with your life; having self-fulfillment which is the realization of personal potentials.

How to build overall well-being?

Building overall well-being requires satisfactory functioning in terms of one's emotions, body, social network, life purpose, and community. Having a growth mindset or a positive attitude can help one build other well-being skills more easily. Well-being is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity.

Does your well-being depend on Yours?

Your well-being concerns how well your life goes for you, and we can allow that my well-being depends on yours without introducing the confusing notion that my well-being is constituted by yours. There are signs in Aristotelian thought of an expansion of the subject or owner of well-being.
